HANSON RESERVE SURROUNDS PLAYGROUND

Public BBQ

At the newly updated playground located at the corner of The Parkway & Seventh Ave, families discover a child-friendly space, particularly enticing for younger children. The playground features soft bubble hazmat floors paired with bark chips and is equipped with a variety of engaging play equipment like a flying fox, which remains a hit among the kids. While it boasts dual covered seating areas for comfort, it currently lacks sufficient shade due to the immature trees, though this promises to improve as the foliage grows. The absence of a fully enclosed fence and public toilets might be a drawback for some visitors. Activities extend beyond the playground with options for football, cycling, and scooting in a clean and secure environment, making it an enjoyable outdoor spot for family outings.
